Dazzler... lmao!!! I think everyone everywhere but America is dumbstruck, I too cannot believe it. I just cracked myself up when I saw the front cover of The Mirror today. I nearly soiled myself laughing...

I'll say it again.

Back in '84, my first exposure to him was via the clinic he did with Tim Landers. I saw where this "Cola-who?!-da" guy was coming in clinic to a local music store, & i knew he had played w Zappa, so therefore he just HAD to be a good drummer," know whuddah mean?! ;c) OHHHHHH, little did i know...muhwahahahahaha....it would change the course of my thoughts on rhythm, period.

A gtrst friend had a vinyl copy of Zappa's Shut Up NPYG, so he let me listen to it a few wks b4 we went to the clinic, to get "a feel" for "this guy's playing." [img]eek.gif[/img] Up intil then i thought Neil was god. My brain got fried that day. To a frazzle. [img]wink.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

Then Weckl came right after w CCEB1, & again my world got re-crushed & re-opened all in the same small window in time. Double-beeyatch-slap. Then along came Chambers added to da mix, an' ya gots de official "Moe slap" [2/3-in-1].

Plate of humble pie [for a slightly-cocky little NP freak.] ;c) Talk about your culture-shock.

To me we don't see Vinnie enough in "Ten Summoners...", Sting has too much ego...

And sometimes you see Vinnie do a thing and it's not the right music...
That's sad...

Shedder, there are a decent amount of Vinnie shots in TST since it is the band playing the WHOLE album in stings living room or something... not bad... and funny too cause his stand-up bass that he is not playin comes crashing down in m-d-song [img]tongue.gif[/img]
